Allow me to introduce myself:

My name is Brandy Barnes. I was diagnosed with Alpha Gal Syndrome in June of 2025, but I have been struggling for 8 years to understand what was happening with my body. I've been bitten by numerous ticks throughout my life, but none have had as significant an impact as the Lone Star tick, which has drastically altered my life. My challenges have included inflammation, digestive issues, Anaphylactic responses as recently and miscarriages over the years. A particularly significant moment was experiencing a tubal pregnancy due to inflammation that doctors couldn't trace Where the inflammation was coming from and why my body was inflamed. Now, with the knowledge I have about Alpha Gal Syndrome, I realize the inflammation stemmed from that.
